The Pro Shop

The Golf Shop is located on the ground floor of the main clubhouse, close to the car park. Visitors are kindly asked to check in upon arrival, when you can pay any green fee due, check you tee time, and receive an update on course conditions and any local rules. If the Shop is closed, these services will be provided by the Country Club Bar.

Golf Pro – Jamie Simms

I am a dedicated PGA golf coach with a lifelong passion for the game, having first picked up a club at the age of four. I spent much of my junior career playing in Scotland, where I developed a strong foundation and deep appreciation for the traditions of golf. At 18, I pursued my ambition further by studying golf at college, building both my technical knowledge and understanding of performance.
My journey to turning professional came later than planned, as injuries and life took me in different directions. However, these experiences have shaped my resilience and perspective as a coach. I turned professional at 34 and went on to complete my PGA University course, achieving a long-held goal. Today, I use my experience to support and inspire golfers of all levels, delivering personalised coaching that builds confidence, consistency, and enjoyment in the game

Buggy and Trolley Hire

Shirland Golf Club has a fleet of 10 Club Car electric buggies, which are available to hire when ground conditions permit. Please telephone the Professional Shop to reserve one. Trolley hire is also available and this can be done on the day when you arrive for your tee time.

Golf Equipment

The Golf Shop stocks a wide range of golf accessories to help you on your way, including balls, tees, gloves, ball markers, etc. We also stock clothing as well as a variety of snacks and drinks to slip into your golf bag. Of course, the Country Club will be ready to serve you at the end of your round!
