The Committee has been elected to drive the golf club forward. Members are requested to bring their ideas to the table either through the Committee or directly to the Secretary who will bring your idea to the Committee table. We are here to help the members in any way possible, be it with rules queries, handicap matters, course improvement or any other query. Most members of the group have specific roles within the group, all elected to bring different attributes to the golf club.
We meet once a month to discuss ideas, matters and issues raised, and member queries. In general we are there for the members and are all working towards the same goal, to help make Shirland Golf Club one of the leading courses in the area, a place where people want to come and be challenged by the tree lined fairways. The minutes from the meetings can be found in the minute folder in the bar area of the Clubhouse, these must not be removed from their current location.
